Sustrans Rangers National Cycle Network   

Get to know Route 45 North

A mainly off road 22 mile ride, through Moulden Hill Country Park and after a short road ride join the  National Cycle network route 45 North towards and around Cotswold Water Park.  The ride is suitable for Touring bikes and Mountain bikes and will be led by qualified ride leaders.

Meet at the Moulden Hill Country Park Car Park near the Tawny Owl pub SN25 1WR. Free parking but ride there if you can.

Rider under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.  Helmets are NOT compulsory but strongly advised.

The rides are free but donations to Sustrans would be appreciated.  It is recommended that you bring lights just in case delays occur during the rides.

If you wanted to get on a bike and try it here's your opportunity to do so in a nice safe traffic free environment.  We will provide the bikes, the helmets, qualified instructors.  All you have to do it turn up and be prepared to have a go.   If you like it our knowledgeable instructors will give you advice on buying bikes, getting trained, where to ride and almost anything else you could wish to know about one of Britain's fastest growing leisure activities.

Cycling for people with disabilities

Cycling is one of Britain's fastest growing leisure activities and it is available to all.   

Bikes have now been developed to give one an opportunity to experience the wind in their hair whilst on a bike ride.  We have bikes and trikes, some you pedal by foot, some by hand, some have seats for two people, side by side, and one behind.  We even have a bike that enable wheel chairs users to be given the bike ride thrill.  And if 3 wheels aren't enough for you, we have some with 4.

We will provide the bikes, the helmets, qualified instructors.  All you have to do it turn up and be prepared to have a go

A mainly off road ride of about 14 miles.  Leaving Coate Water and following the National Cycle network route 45 South towards Ogbourne St George.  The ride is suitable for Touring bikes and Mountain bikes and will be led by qualified ride leaders. 

PLEASE ARRIVE AT START ABOUT 20MINS BEFORE ADVERTISED START TIME TO ALLOW TIME FOR BRIEFING AND BIKE CHECKS

 Farcycles FollyFest Sportive

 

The event takes the form of a traditional “sportive”, which is a timed road run along a pre-determined route and which typically draws an entry of 100s from around the country. There will be two routes on the 3rd, one of 35 miles and another of 70 miles.
